History of the Great Armour Packing Factory

Philip Danforth Armour operated several meatpacking facilities in the United States after the Civil War into the 20th century, including a facility in Kansas City, Missouri. The Armour company sold a wide variety of products made from animals, not just meat, including glue, oil, fertilizer, soap, and other consumer proudcts.
