Kansas City, Kansas, Spanish Speaking office interviews and slides
Overview
This collection includes transcripts of oral interviews conducted with Hispanic members of the Kansas City, Kansas community and slides produced for a slide show done by the Kansas City, Kansas, Spanish Speaking office, an entity that no longer exists. The interviews and slides were done in the early 1980s, Robert Oppenheimer and Laurie Bretz conducting the interviews. The people in the slides are presumably people in the Kansas City, Kansas area. A large number of the slides contain images of men constructing the Union Pacific Railroad in 1922. Other slides include images of people and buildings in color from a later date.
