Biography of William Dickerson
William Dickerson is often referred to as the "Last Great Kansas Regionalist." Born in El Dorado, Kansas in 1904, Dickerson spent most of his life working as the director of the Wichita Art Association after his education at the Art Institute of Chicago. Dickerson was a founding member of the Prairie Print Makers and the Prairie Watercolor Society. He passed away in 1972.
