Overview

Collection of ephemera and newsletters relating to the Lawrence Art Guild and other arts-based organizations in the surrounding area of Kansas. The Lawrence Arts Guild was founded in 1962 in Lawrence, Douglas County, Kansas with a focus on connecting and sustaining the community with arts through education and other means. Two major events the guild has held in Lawrence have included Art in the Park, held in South Park, and an art walk held in downtown Lawrence.
