Biography of Olive Carr Strachan
Olive Carr Strachan began teaching at the age of 19 in 1913 at Eudora School, Douglas County, Kansas. Agnes Lovelace Carr, Olive's mother, also taught for three years at Washington Creek, a rural school in Douglas County, Kansas, prior to her marriage in 1880.
