Scope and Contents
Materials include stickers, bumper stickers, handouts, pamphlets, letters, and flyers relating to the political campaigns of both the Republican and the Democratic parties for the primaries on August 3 and 4 and national election on November 3 in 1970. Positions found in the collection include governor, lietenant governor, U.S. Senate, U.S. Congress, State Representative, committeeman, committeewoman, sheriff, magistrate, and attorney general.
Materials are arranged by state and party, and have been alphabetized by candidate name.
