Cora Parker collection
Overview
This collection includes pictures, letters and a postcard written from Cora Parker, a written note from the daughter of Cora Parker's close friend Marion Barnes LeSuer Fincham, a family photograph album of what is assumed to be the Aenchbacher family, two newspaper clippings of socialite Anna Gould, and a painting of someone who is assumed to be Anna Gould.

Biography of Cora Parker
Cora Parker was an artist born in 1859 in Kentucky. She studied at the Cincinnati Art School and at the Julian Academy in Paris. She was head of the teaching staff at the University of Nebraska and Dean of the Arts at the University of Kansas. As a painter she specialized in flower scenes and gardens. In the 1930s, Parker moved to Coral Gables, Florida and stayed there until her death in 1944 at the age of 84.
