Martha McCoy Dental Ledger Volume 1
Overview
This ledger contains Topeka, Kansas-based dentist Martha McCoy's dental notes, each page showing diagrams of teeth and six charts noting work done, time spent, price, and credit. Diagrams of teeth correspond with patient numbers. This volume contains advertisments for and was compliments of Pasturine brand antiseptic, a brand manufactured in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. McCoy's dental practice was located at 631 Kansas Avenue.

Biography of Martha S. McCoy
Martha Seely McCoy was the daughter of James P. and Jane Seeley McCoy, one of eight children. She was born in Abilene, Kansas in 1872 and graudated from the dental department at the State University of Iowa in 1895. She was last known to be living in Topeka, Kansas practicing dentistry as of 1946.
