Scope and Contents
Most of these items were issued by the King of Spain or the Viceroy of Mexico, and probably received by the alcalde of Tulancingo as official orders. Some of the printed items bear a paragraph in manuscript directed to Tulancingo. The items appear to have been kept together in a binding or portfolio: perhaps they were part of the archives of the city government. Many of the printed items are docketed by subject in a 19th-century(?) scholarly hand.
