Personal papers of Paul Willhite
Overview
This collection consists of Paul Willhite's class papers dating from the 1980s to 2012, while he was a professor at the University of Kansas. The collection includes sample class projects, lecture notes and transparencies, homework solutions, test keys, copies of examinations and finals given in classes, and selected readings for chemical and petroleum engineering classes CPE 618, CPE 527, and CPE 795. Also in the collection are articles and other publications to which Willhite was a contributor before and during his tenure at KU, as well as selected examples of workshops and short courses Willhite has conducted for professionals and other organizations in Kansas and elsewhere.

Biography of G. Paul Willhite
G. Paul Willhite is the Ross H. Forney Distinguished Professor of chemical and petroleum engineering at the University of Kansas. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in chemical engineering at Iowa State University and his Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Northwestern University. His research specialties include researching processes to improve oil recovery from petroleum reservoirs, environmental heat transfer problems, transport processes in porous media, and determining numerical solutions to partial differential equations.
