Overview
This collection consists of portraits of individual students from Arkansas City (A. C.) Junior College, for the graduating classes of 1948-1950 and 1955. Names of individuals are identified on the back of each photo. The photographs were all taken by Cornish Studio of Arkansas City.

History of A.C. Junior College
Arkansas City Junior College was founded in 1922, initially operating out of the basement of the Akransas City High School. Eventually due to growth, Galle-Johnson Hall was constructed in 1950, and in 1965 the college changed its name to Cowley County Community College and Vocational-Technical School.
