Separated Materials

Several publications were separated after arrival at Spencer Research Library and individually cataloged.

Processing Information

All materials have been frozen as part of treatment for potential insect and mold damage.

This collection was processed concurrently with the Karl Allen collection, having arrived at Spencer Research Library at the same time from the same source. Some materials were not clearly delineated upon arrival as being part of Davids' collection or part of Allen's collection. In cases where ownership by Davids was not explicit and the material was dated within the scope of the Allen collection (approximately the 1960s-1970s), materials were processed as part of the Allen collection.

The majority of the Davids material arrived unfoldered and, as such, most folder names were derived by the processor.
