History of Horton, Kanssa

The city of Horton was was founded in 1886 in Brown County, Kansas. Brown County was one of the first 33 counties organized in Kansas Territory in 1855. The largest recorded population in Brown County was 22,369 residents, in the year 1900; as of 2010, the city of Horton had 1,776 residents.
