Scope and Contents

The collection includes 1 mourning leaf containing a list of things to see in the Vatican; another smaller mourning leaf with some memoranda about Rome; 4 pages, the first dated February 11, 1864: "Left Newcastle...13 Boulogne?...14-22 Paris, 22 Lyons, 24 Marseilles, 25 Nice, 26 Mentine, 27-29 Italy"; a white leaf containing directions for a drive through Rome and additional memoranda about Rome; and lastly 4 blue sheets sewn together and difficult to read due to the thinness of the paper and the writer writing on both sides. These last pages appear to include more of the tourist's itinerary: "April 29.
