Scope and Contents
The collection includes 1 mourning leaf containing a list of things to see in the Vatican; another smaller mourning leaf with some memoranda about Rome; 4 pages, the first dated February 11, 1864: "Left Newcastle...13 Boulogne?...14-22 Paris, 22 Lyons, 24 Marseilles, 25 Nice, 26 Mentine, 27-29 Italy"; a white leaf containing directions for a drive through Rome and additional memoranda about Rome; and lastly 4 blue sheets sewn together and difficult to read due to the thinness of the paper and the writer writing on both sides.
