Scope and Contents
This collection shows the evolutionist side of the evolution/intelligent design debate in how Kansas public education should teach science. Much of this collection consists of the personal papers of Steven Case, a member of Kansas Citizens for Science, a pro-evolution group that overturned creationist, Christian-based curriculum standards set by the State Board of Education in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Case helped write standards for education and is a science teacher in Olathe Public Schools.
