Overview

Scenes of army life at Fort McKinney, Wyoming. Included in the collection are photographs of troops drilling, soldiers at recreation, officer's homes, a Chinese laundry, and other buildings at the fort. Among the army units shown are Troop H, C 8th Infantry, 6th Cavalry, and the 9th Cavalry. There are also views of the Custer Battlefield and towns in Wyoming including Clearmont, Buffalo, and Newcastle, as well as two photographs of Kansas City, Missouri. The album contains albumen and cyanotype photographs.
