Biography of Neva Entrikin (1933-1999)

Neva E. Entrikin earned a bachelor's degree in personnel administration from the University of Kansas (KU) and began working at KU in October 1976. During her time at KU, Entrikin became a member of the Phi Alpha Theta history honorary society, and in 1981, she began work on a Master's in Public Administration at KU.

In 1987, Entrikin was appointed to the Kansas Public Employees Retirement System's board of directors by Governor Mike Hayden. Entrikin eventually became an office supervisor for the Helen F. Spencer Museum of Art before resigning in 1992 to run for a seat in the Kansas House of Representatives.

Entrikin was also a member of Leadership Lawrence, the League of Women Voters and the University Place Neighborhood Association.
