This class notebook of high school student Barbara Pendleton has 81 pages on which she has pressed and named 83 leaves of deciduous trees and conifers. Preceding the pressed leaves are Pendleton's pencilled descriptions of the characteristics of various deciduous tress. Pendleton's notebook was assembled for a Biology I class which she took in the 1930s when attending Lawrence High School, Lawrence (Douglas County), Kansas.
