Scope and Contents
Many of the records in this record group are building records, especially architectural drawings. These drawings include floor plans and construction plans for various buildings. Along with the original floor plans, RG 0 also includes plans and other records of additions and renovations to buildings on campus.
Campus maps and site plans describing the location and layouts of new developments are sometimes interfiled with the building plans but also often separated--these materials may be found in this finding aid or in the overall finding aid for the records of RG 0. Similarly, RG 0 also contains maps of locations and utilities on the KU campus.
These kinds of records for existing buildings and for locations of utilities may be restricted due to security concerns.
Arrangement
This finding aid has been organized by where materials may be found in the University Archives: flat files, boxed oversize drawings, and rolled drawings. Items related to a single building may therefore be found in several locations.
