Kansas Christian Endeavor Union, Fifth District, Minute book
Overview
The Kansas Christian Endeavor Union was a branch of the organization that began in 1881 and by 1895 had grown to an international Christian Endeavor Union. Its purpose was to promote Christian youth fellowship, good citizenship, and cultural-political activism, especially in the causes of prohibition and Sabbath keeping. This handwritten minute book of the organization's Fifth District of Kansas contains the organization's constitution and by-laws, annual convention minutes, and treasurers' reports for the period 1893 to 1919.
