Overview
This collection is comprised of news releases issued by the Research Hospital and Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri following the final hospitalization of former President Harry S. Truman, and "fact sheets" issued by the Fifth Army Information Office after his death in December, 1972. The news releases provide a day-to-day log of President Truman's hospitalization. The fact sheets (which total 146) were distributed to the press corps providing biographical data and other background information on the former president as well as details regarding his funeral services and interment. .
