Overview
The Ruby family history was written by Margaret Riddick, a descendant of the family. The Ruby family, originally from France, moved to Kansas in the 1860s and finally settled in Great Bend in 1880. The photograph in the collection is of Elnora Frye, also a descendant of the Ruby family, and a public school teacher.
