Mariah and Jenkin Jones were farmers in Ohio. These letters relate the family's life in America to their Welsh kinsmen. The letters detail the growth of the Jones children, the farming activities and life in general in Ohio. The letters are translated from the Welsh. The original letters remain in the custody of Jones' relatives in Wales.
