Francesca Rhee letters to the Lemnitzer family, 1956-1982
Most of these letters and cards (20) are addressed to Katherine Lemnitzer and are thanks for flowers, produce and other gifts. The contents also note their shared interest in orphanages, finding items that can be manufactured by the Korean people, social events and family news. Mrs. Rhee often expresses her appreciation for General Lemnitzer's support of Korea. Most of the enclosures noted in the letters and cards are not included in this collection.
