Includes a funeral notice that says Benjamin Scamell was born in Bristol, and died in New Haven, Missouri; a photograph of an unidentified woman that says, “Protheroe Portrait Painter and Photographer, 35 and 36 Wine Street, Bristol," along with two unidentified group protrait tintypes.

Includes photographs from the following studios: Moffit Studios Leo.; Snyder, Atchison, Kansas; Genelli, 923 Olive Street, Saint Louis; Hauk and Scoglund, Lincoln; Skoles, 611 Kansas Avenue, Topeka; Christopher Studio, Topeka, Kansas and by Juanita, Pasadina. The only dated photos are two from 1948, labeled "Kansas City friends" and “Mrs. Schneider feeding the bear in Yellowstone Park.”

Includes 2 1/2 x 3 1/2" black and white negatives depicting buildings, mountains, people on the beach and in the mountains, and portraits of people and a dog in front of a house.

Includes a photocopy of a newpaper clipping, an oval photo of Inez Bernhard, a gray matted photo presumably of Alice Bernhard but marked on the back “Eva,” and a wedding photo that had been folded in a paper that read, “? think it is Leslie Bernhard and wife.”

The album contains many unnamed portraits. The names penciled in include Joseph C. Bernhard and wife Charlotte White Fleming Bernhard, Chet Fleming, Joseph Bernhard’s sister Lillie Bernhard, Clarence Bernhard, Emma Bernhard and Orman Sherwood, Alva D. Bernhard, Flora and her husband, Leslie Bernhard and his wife.
