Can you supply American newspapers since London papers are one-sided and I must know the state of the public mind in America? "The war will be of long continuance. But ... may... be shortened by the efforts of the pen..." which I am anxious to make. How can I send a letter to America: through France? Visit me in the country where "I can show you some fine oxen fatting as they might be so easily fatted in America."
