Overview

Elizabeth Wright writes to an unidentified publisher to remind him of a manuscript of a poem, "An Ode to Peter Pindar", which she sent to him for publication 2 years before. The poem has not been published nor has the manuscript been returned. Wright has made arrangements for the manuscript to be picked up from the publisher by Mr. Cass, shopman to Mistress Woods, Gerrard Street in Soho, England.

Overview

Literary drafts of Peter Pindar, the nom-de-plume of satirist and poet John Wolcot (1738-1819). The collection consists of rough drafts of poems on scraps of paper, mostly amorous-pastoral poems, as well as some excerpts from plays, songs without music, a patriotic ballad, and a satire.
