Overview

This collection includes the autograph album of George Cruse, who lived in Mulvane, Kansas. It includes entries from grade school classmates, friends, and family dated from January through March 1901. According to census records, George was born in Rockford Township, Sedgwick County, Kansas in 1890 to parents F.M. and Dora Cruse. He had one younger sister, Hazel, born in 1892.

Overview

Two holograph notebooks kept by poet Ronald Johnson containing inscriptions, including poems, artwork, and tipped-in materials by fellow writers and artists. The majority of the inscriptions date from 1963-1967, but there are also inscriptions from the 1970s and even the 1980s in the second notebook, which also includes art and inscriptions that appear to have been collected at the Aspen Institute in the summer of 1967.
