Charles Curtis correspondence
Collection contains five pieces of general correspondence from Curtis to constituents during his years as senator and Vice-President. Also, within the collection is a program of a memorial service for Curtis held in 1951 with an attached letter from his daughter to a friend.
Thomas Jefferson letter
Contains message of peace for the Native American chiefs to carry back from Washington to their tribes. Letter starts as follows: "My friends and children, chiefs of the Osages, Missouris, Kansas, Ottoes, Panis, Ayowas, Sioux, Pontewattamies, Foxes and Sacs." April 11, 1806.
