Robert Gilmore joined the faculty of KU as a professor in 1968, and served as Director of Graduate Studies and Associate Chairman of the Department of History from 1970-1973. His area of specialty was Latin American History with an emphasis on Colombia and Mexico. The collection includes research notes, book drafts, translations, class/lecture notes, and maps related to Gilmore's career.

Shelley Miller papers

Shelley Miller was a long-time Kansas resident, both attending the University of Kansas as a student and serving as head of the Department for Spain, Portugal and Latin America at the KU Libraries. This collection reflects her professional and personal efforts through newspaper clippings, informational pamphlets, scrapbooks, and personal correspondence.
