David Katzman has been a professor of History and American Studies at the University of Kansas (KU). This collection includes newspapers, clippings, magazines, journals, and papers collected by Dr. Katzman, as well as materials related to his teaching and career at KU.

The collection includes American Studies professor Stuart Levine’s articles, lectures given at the University of Kansas and elsewhere, course descriptions and reading lists, and correspondence about travel, publications and about the American Studies journal. There are numbers in the margins of some lectures, which may be slide cues, but no slides are included. Photocopies of labeled slides are indicated, as are materials in Spanish.
