Viola Anderson recieved her B.S. in 1912 and her M.S. in 1916, both from Simmons University. She joined the faculty of the University of Kansas in the Department of Home Economics in 1919 and retired in 1960. This collection contains her manuscript entitled "The Department of Home Economics: The First 50 Years."
