Biography
A Presbyterian Mission set up on southern edge of the Iowa reservation in present-day Doniphan County, Kansas. In November 1837 Samuel M. Irvin and his wife, Eliza established a mission two miles west of the mouth of Wolf River.
Now operated as a historic site museum, Iowa, Sac, and Fox Mission Museum, by the Kansas State Historical Society.

Overview
In addition to the financial records there are records of baptisms from 1841 to 1846, marriages from 1841-1845, and a list of books belonging to S. M. Irvin, missionary at the mission.
