Biography of Irvin, Samuel M.

Samuel M. Irvin and his wife were early missionaries who traveled from Pennsylvania to Kansas Territory in 1837 and remained to establish a mission for the Iowa, Sac and Fox Indians. The Irvin family remained in Highland, Kansas after the mission was closed.
