Andrew Debicki was a Professor of Spanish at the University of Kansas from 1968-2005, during which time he also held multiple administrative positions. This collection contains material reflecting his activities as teacher, administrator, and author and expert in the field of modern Spanish and Latin-American poetry.

Brushwood taught in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Kansas in the 1970s. This collection consists of correspondence, research, translations, and a manuscript entitled "The Spanish American Novel: 1900-1970."
