This collection of ephemeral protest literature from the 1960s contains communications supporting efforts of the United Farm Workers, protesting U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War, and supporting anti-war prisoners at the San Francisco Presidio Stockade who were charged with mutiny in 1968 for non-violent protest of their conditions and for the Army's shooting of a fellow prisoner.

This collection contains a diverse array of materials related to the activites of the United Farm Workers union in the 1960s and 1970s. Included are personal and press photographs (including a 1969 portrait of Cesar Chavez), various ephemera and memorabilia, a number of journal entries from an unnamed union member, and newspaper clippings regarding the death of a Latino grape striker killed on the picket line in 1973.
