This collection includes R. Keith Lawton's work from when he was the Vice Chancellor of the University of Kansas/Director of Facilities Planning and Operations. It includes his correspondence with the Kansas government and advisors on campus regarding the development of KU.

The Department of Facilities Operations and Planning, formerly "Campus Services," manages and maintains the physical structures, buildings, utilities, and grounds, for the University of Kansas, in Lawrence and on its satellite campuses, including the Medical Center in Kansas City.
