Overview Helen Foresman Spencer was the wife of Kansas City industrialist Kenneth Aldred Spencer. Following her husband's death in 1960, Mrs. Spencer became president and director of the charitable foundation which they established in 1949. Under her direction until its dissolution in 1979, the Kenneth A. and Helen F.
