Nora E. Crawford attended the University of Kansas from 1926 to 1930, studying under Albert Bloch and Raymond J. Eastwood and graduating with a bachelors in painting. The collection includes photographs of her along with classmates and professors at the University of Kansas; sketches she drew of human figures and nature; water color and ink wash paintings; and newspaper clippings about professors and classmates Nora knew from her time at KU.

Raymond J. Eastwood was a professional landscape artist who taught at the University of Kansas from 1922 to 1968, influencing several generations of artists, including Lawrence artist and KU art professor Robert Sudlow. The collection includes correspondence, photographs, and negatives -- many of which are reproductions of his work.
