Scope and Contents
This series includes 11 letters from fellow poets and authors Wallace Stevens, T. S. Eliot, and William Carlos Williams. The bulk of letters are from Williams, consisting of warm, detailed letters about his and Tomlinson's work and regarding critics in England and America. Stevens was answering Tomlinson's questions about his poetry, and Eliot was rejecting Tomlinson's volume of poems.
