Charles Hill was working on a dissertation about Murdock's brother Brock Pemberton, through Emporia State University where he lived and worked. Mostly consists of typed originals with some handwritten postscripts and addenda, both incoming and outgoing. Topics also include the theatre more generally, Emporia, and their personal lives.
