Panoramic photographs, June 1922, undated
Dates
- Creation: June 1922, undated
General
This file contains two large and one smaller panoramic photographs. One of them depicts African American men, women, and children dressed in robes, uniforms, and suits, who were possible members of the IBPOEW. This identification is uncertain due to a severely faded and illegible inscription on the photograph. The only part of the inscription that can be distingushed is the name "Burton N. Topeka."
The second panoramic photograph depicts African American men only, and is inscribed with the statement "2nd Annual State Session, IBPOE of W, June 5.6.7. 1922, Topeka Kansas." The majority of the men in this photograph are wearing uniforms and holding band instruments.
The third, smaller photograph also depicts a group of men in uniform carrying band instruments.
