Letters to Eleanor Roosevelt, "Mrs. Wilson," and the Lord Mayor of Manchester's Secretary regarding business of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF). Several letters regarding various WILPF issues. Also in this folder are other letters regarding Christine Sturgeon's career, including a letter requesting permission to leave the colony where Christine was staying in order to participate in a teaching program. Incomplete letter of application to the St. Vincent girls high school as well as a return letter saying she was accepted to the position. One letter notifying acceptance of paper for publication. Letters of recommendation for Christine. Lastly a damaged and fragile letter from Christine to the British Battalion of the International Brigade searching for her son Peter as well as return letters from them.
