Albert Edward, Prince of Wales (1841-1910), later Edward VII, king of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. Letter written as President of proposed International Health Exhibition to the Chairman, Chelsea Waterworks Company, Commercial Road, Pimlico SW requesting collaboration with others on a collective display. Written by a secretary and signed “Albert Edward.” Manuscript, ink on International Health Exhibition letterhead paper. Pencil annotation [by collector or autograph dealer] misidentifies writer as Albert, prince consort of Queen Victoria, who had died in 1861. 1 piece, leaf 32 x 20 cm. (writing on 2 pages).
