Letterpress heading “Louis XVI, par le grace de Dieu, Roi de France et de Navarre” printed on parchment, with text completed in manuscript. 2 pieces, 1 leaf 32 x 24 cm (writing on 2 pages) and 1 leaf engraved portrait printed on paper and titled “Louis XVI King of France,” “Shepperson del. J.G. Walker sculpsit. Bungay. Published by Mss’rs Brightly & Childs Sep 12, 1814.” With photocopies of seller Henry Sotheran’s folder and of identifying inscription.
