Clemens, Samuel (1835-1910), known as Mark Twain. Later [circa 190-?] transcription of short story titled “A Literary Nightmare,” by Samuel Clemens that had been published in the Atlantic Monthly (February 1876, pp. 167-169.) Written on letterhead paper of Hotel Grand, J.G. Dermedy, Prop’r., Muscatine, Iowa dated [190-] in hand apparently different from that of Samuel Clemens. Manuscript, ink on paper. 6 pieces, each leaf 25 x 16 cm (writing on 12 pages total).
