Doll collection
Series — Box: 1
Call Number: RH MS Q61
Scope and Contents
This series consists of twelve dolls and miniature parlor furniture including leather bound books, a tea service, spinning wheel, tintype photographs, needlepoint, and a braid rug, all made to-scale (31 items total). The dolls are made of a frame of covered wire with peanuts for faces and dressed in costumes from the 1870s, the same time period as the miniature furniture. The dolls were made to represent the original 12 members of the Zodiac Club for the 65th anniversary of the club in 1943.
