Scope and Contents

Two handwritten letters, one addressed to Morrison's sister describing buffalo, Sioux and Blackfeet tribes members, having his daguerrotype taken, and indicating that Company H (Morrison's company?) would be leaving soon for Fort Riley (spelled as "Wriley"). The other is addressed to Morrison's father William H. Morrison, discussing Pawnee tribes members, local acquaintances, and drying buffalo meat to eat.
