Disc contains three folders titled "Academic Journal Articles," "Audio Files and Selected Transcripts," "Ghost Town Conference (KU 2_14)#910B," and a word processing document entitled "Water Issues Notes." The academic journal articles and Ghost Town Conference folders contain PDF documents.

The audio files folder contains sub-folders for each geographic location where Guth conducted interviews (Boise City, OK; Clayton, NM; Colby, Garden City, and Scott City, KS; and a set of miscellaneous interviews), as well as folders for a Kansas Public Radio documentary and other radio spots and copied audio files from Donald Worster's "Reminiscences of the Dust Bowl" collection at Kenneth Spencer Reserch Library. Audio files from Guth's interviews are in .mp3 format, and there are word processing transcripts or notes for the interviews.
