1. "Lowe's famous kennels, Lawrence, Kansas." H. C. Lowe was a breeder of Pilkington greyhound dogs in the late 1800s-early 1900s and participated in coursing meets, his dogs often winning. He lived in a stone house on a "hill just west of Haskell Institute" with a stone barn for a kennel. 2. Angora goats and farmers on a Kansas ranch.
